In June I came back from Laos to Shenzhen. The dense, active records of the entire month were squeezed into the last ten days (June 21 to 30) — about thirty-nine conversations, almost all in Chinese. On the surface I was slack. Underneath I was thinking through hard things at high density. This piece breaks June into seven layers: the deepest psychological line — "I finally saw the mechanism of how I push people away" — and how the same move lives inside my career; Agent architecture and technical engineering; what to do and not do in product direction; the founder studies and the lesson that "incentive structure colonizes personality"; a handful of epistemological knives; and finally back to my own situation today — that the essence of disorientation is not insufficient effort, it is not yet recognizing what problem I have to solve.

In May I did not write a single flomo note. I barely posted on social. It was a month of intentional disconnection — disconnecting from the tools other people designed to record me, disconnecting from the Shenzhen default script for how a life should be lived, and throwing myself into the cafés, caves, bars and riverbanks of Laos to see, in the absence of any external frame, what I am actually pulled toward, when I light up and when I go hollow. This is a deep recap of that one month: from the alms-giving in Luang Prabang to the wild adventure of Vang Vieng, from the post-water-festival emptiness in Vientiane to a month-plus of slow life there; from reading myself as a risk-seeker, to the realization that the unity of knowing and doing is the answer, to the engineering thought of compiling a person into a self-model, and finally to the disorientation after returning home and a life roadmap I now have to design myself.

February 2026 deep thought notes with 365 entries covering travel experiences (Chiang Mai, Pokhara), ecological protection, urban governance observation, AI product thinking, Buddhist philosophy, and self-discovery.
Key Themes:
1. Desire & Resources (about 25 entries): The eternal proposition of ecological protection—human desire is endless, resources are finite. Internal control through religion/education vs external control through systems/incentives.
2. Urban Governance & Aesthetics (about 20 entries): Pokhara vs Chiang Mai vs Japanese cities—chaos vs order, the beauty of disciplined management, clarity and minimalism in urban design.
3. Travel & Serendipity (about 80 entries): Unexpected discoveries in Chiang Mai morning tea shops, the player mindset in solo journeys, cultural immersion through language learning.
4. AI & Technology (about 45 entries): AI platform compute infrastructure, Microsoft's AI strategy (building universal底层), Meta's core assets (attention vs social relationships), agent responsibility boundaries.
5. Philosophy & Buddhism (about 30 entries): "There's a crack in everything—that's how the light gets in" (Leonard Cohen), service as humanistic care, the distance between people in modern society.
Selected Notes Include: - "Wildlife protection isn't just about development/economics—it's fundamental. Control desire, not expand resources." - "Pokhara feels chaotic with few rules; well-managed places present clarity, simplicity, white-space beauty" - "Chiang Mai density is incredibly high—every two steps, surprising discoveries" - "Japanese service: technology + culture + humanity fused, with appropriate distance—both sides satisfied" - "There's a crack in everything—that's how the light gets in. Accepting imperfection is the beginning of growth."
Time Span: February 1-28, 2026 | 28 days of continuous recording.

January 2026 deep thought notes with 388 entries covering AI product design, finance, biology, Buddhism, social observation, and self-discovery.
Key Themes:
1. AI Products & Agent Design (55 entries): Manus roundtable insights, TOB vs TOC closed-loop dynamics, deterministic value delivery, agent architecture ablation studies, pure-blood agent definition, SOTA pursuit value, and AI as a product promise system vs exploration system.
2. Finance & Investment (19 entries): A-share industry rotation "three-times rule", institutional trust economics, asset pricing logic, and dynamic industry research methodologies.
3. Self-Discovery & Psychology (11 entries): Projection jealousy, suffering definitions across class boundaries, personality-environment fit, and the player mindset in solo journeys.
4. Biology & Evolution (10 entries): Zhe'ergen (fish mint) addiction and volatile sulfur compounds, serotonin and social hierarchy, prefrontal cortex and decision-making.
5. Social Observation & Philosophy (7+ entries): The essence of sadness vs nihilism (AI's choice), technology as the great variable in China's 40-year transformation, and the meditation on life meaning through pilgrimage experiences.
Selected Notes Include: - "Next wave of profitable AI: Not flashier content generation, but more deterministic, deliverable 'work' with clear ROI" - "TOB vs TOC: Not about which is bigger, but which closes loops easier" - "Today's LLMs cannot take responsibility for their actions—autonomy's bottom line is 'can bear consequences', not 'can do'" - "Sadness vs Nihilism: If I must choose, I pick sadness—sadness means the world still acts on you; nihilism is relationship's withdrawal"

December 2025 deep thought notes with 380 entries documenting pilgrimage experiences, Zen philosophy, and self-discovery journeys.
Key Themes:
1. Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage (about 40 entries): Walking the ancient path, experiencing the sacred waterfall as deity body (shintai), the coexistence of Shinto and Buddhism at Nachi Taisha, and the philosophy of life and death embedded in centuries-old stone paths.
2. Zen Buddhism & Self-Management (about 35 entries): Koan practice meets modern psychology, applying Legalist philosophy to personal discipline, and AI as the "modern mental pastor" replacing traditional spiritual guides.
3. Japanese Culture & Architecture (about 25 entries): Nara vs Kyoto architectural aesthetics—Tang Dynasty grandeur vs Japanese minimalist introspection, walking meditation, and the cultural discipline of not eating while walking.
4. Philosophy & Meaning (about 30 entries): The essence of war, systematic thinking, personal life database构想，and year-end contemplation on mortality and purpose.
Selected Notes Include: - "Learning language is the way to immerse into another culture" - "Kumano Kodo: Player mindset in solo hiking—respect yourself, respect nature" - "Nara's Dougong: Honest architecture language like backend code—stable, logical, no redundancy" - "AI as Modern Priest: When algorithms become spiritual counselors"

In 2023, my journey took me to the edges of the world, where I discovered not just new landscapes, but deeper insights into myself. From the bustling streets of ancient cities to the tranquil solitude of mountaintops, every step was a story, a lesson, and a memory. This blog captures my adventures, the people I met, the cultures I experienced, and the personal growth that ensued. Join me as I recount the tales of my wanderings and the indelible marks they left on my soul. You can switch to the specified language to follow my journey more closely.

Ignite and Settle (Part 3): Anxious Attachment — Why We Keep Seeking Reassurance in Love

Anxious attachment is not about loving too much. It comes from repeatedly experiencing as a child that love would come but might not stay, that people would draw close and then suddenly disappear. So in adulthood the anxious person doesn't distrust love — they fear love disappearing. This piece lays out the origins, typical patterns, the anxious-avoidant trap, and the path of repair, all in one place.

In the Chinese context, what people often call avoidant personality is more precisely avoidant attachment. Its core is not no need for love but a slowly learned lesson from childhood: expressing needs does not work, getting close is not safe, carrying it alone is steadiest. This piece lays out where it grows from, what its underlying beliefs look like, how it typically shows up, and step by step how it can be repaired — both with others and with yourself.

Quality and time in companionship are not a choice between two things. They are two different systems doing two different jobs. Quality lights the fire. Time settles it to the bottom. This piece pulls apart the responsiveness system and the habituation system, then uses how the amygdala actually works to explain why safety is not no threat here but no surprise here. Finally we return to the most common and least recognized move of all: why we turn away just as we are about to come close.

This essay assembles the most current 2025-2026 methodologies into one executable map: the core thesis, six product directions, five ops stacks, the Soul Core + Harness Engineering foundations, and a 12-month roadmap.
